RoadWise is a program of the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA). Founded in 1994, it works with Local Government
to support the implementation of the Towards Zero
Road Safety Program
Toodyay Roadwise meets on a regular basis to develop road safety programs and look at issues within the Shire of Toodyay.
Achievements have included the advocacy and introduction of a 40km speed zone in the Toodyay shopping precinct.
Toodyay RoadWise also participates in
the
Moondyne Festival, the Toodyay Agricultural Show and the Toodyay Street Party, where they highlight the risks on our roads with a 'CRASH TRAILER'
REPORT ROAD SIGN ISSUES

ROAD SAFETY GRANTS
Interested in Road Safety Community Grants for your community group? Applications are Now Open for the Road Safety Commission Grant Program. The Road Safety Commission is now welcoming applications for road safety community event and project grants. Applications are invited from Local Governments, RoadWise Committees, community groups, schools, service clubs, youth development groups, health organisations and other groups that encourage community participation in road safety projects.Help support the development and implementation of sustainable projects and one-off community activities that assist in promoting road safety across the state through the Road Trauma Trust Account (RTTA).
Applications for this Event Grant round close on Monday, 30 August. The Project Grant round will close at 5:00pm on Friday, 24 September.
